Things only improve when you step to the Wave trim. The Wave trim of the Kia Niro EV adds household-style power outlets and a premium 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. Otherwise, the Wave trim comes with the same set of tech features as the Wind: 10.3-inch touchscreen display, wireless phone charging functionality, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, a digital gauge cluster, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Interior Features
Comfort and convenience options abound with the new Kia Niro EV, with even the base trim offering a set of features that most other similar models require upgrades to achieve. Interior features included with the Wind trim range from tinted rear windows and a power adjustable driver's seat to heated front seats, vegan leather interior trim, and seating for five. It's also worth mentioning that the Kia Niro EV manages a deceptively spacious rear cargo storage area. There's an optional Preserve package that can be added to the Wind, which adds heated outboard seats, a head pump, and a heated steering wheel. Stepping to the Wave trim allows for the most comfort and convenience features to be had. The Wave trim comes with a sunroof, power tailgate, sound-isolating front windows, a driver's seat with memory settings, a power adjustable front passenger seat, a heated steering wheel, and increased driver assistance features.
